“Hi!” I’m Darren Fox, a licensed drone pilot located near Lake Geneva, Wisconsin offering commercial drone photography and video services. I completed my remote pilot license in 2017 (FAA Part 107), allowing me to legally provide commercial drone services to businesses or individuals who are seeking aerial photography and video.

Packages include local travel within 30 miles of Delavan, WI. Additional travel time quoted separately. Full use rights provided on supplied photographs and video files with access provided via Google Drive after payment is received. Photos have a max size of 8,192px 4,344px shot with a 50mp camera. Videos are delivered in 1920×1080 HD and can be upgraded to 4K for an additional cost. All services can be enhanced to fit your project needs.
Meet Your Drone Pilot
A little about me. I’m a huge outdoor lover and spend quite a bit of time out in nature. I’ve spent most of my life as a creative. I’ve been in the design industry since 2000, owned/operated a 12-person marketing agency for almost 15 years, and have worked with well known brands from around the world as a go-to marketing expert. Currently, I live in Delavan, but often travel to Madison, Milwaukee, and the Chicago area. I grew up in Illinois (Yorkville/Oswego) and spent many summers in the New Buffalo, Michigan area. I’ve been a drone pilot since 2017.
Professional Drone Services FAQ
Can you fly in any type of weather?
Unfortunately, no. Drone flights are very weather dependent. Wind speeds should be under 20 miles per hour with visibility up to three statute miles. Rain, fog, snow, heavy smoke, and low cloud coverage will prevent flights. For scheduling, a date range will be provided rather than an exact date and time. A more accurate notice will be given 1-2 days beforehand based on weather forecasts.
Can you fly a drone at night?
Yes. My drone is equipped with the required anti-collision lighting to allow flights in the evening hours and before sunrise within a small window of time referred to as “civil twilight”. The FAA defines civil twilight as the period of 30 minutes prior to sunrise in the morning and 30 minutes after sunset.
Are you allowed to fly anywhere?
No. As a professional drone pilot, I abide by the air space rules governed by the Federal Aviation Administration. Locations near airports, national landmarks, and military bases have special restrictions which can prevent all drone photography and video services. Safe flights are below 400 feet in uncontrolled airspace. Local counties also have some unique rules for drones and other restrictions. Since this can be tricky in some places, I will work with you to confirm the location(s) for the drone flights before committing to a project.
I am based near Lake Geneva in Wisconsin and most of my flights are in the Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago area. However, I will travel for projects.
What type of photographs and video formats do you provide?
All of my drone photography is shot in highest resolution setting of 50MP delivered in JPG format with drone footage in 1920×1080 HD or 4K when requested. I fly a DJI Air S3.
What do you charge for drone services?
I provide custom drone packages based on your needs. I don’t subcontract other drone pilots, I will be the one on-site at your location and working with you directly for all of your drone photography and video needs. I will also provide post-editing to the photos and can help provide/edit video content. Contact me about your project needs to get an personalized estimate for your project.
